Coffee Day

If you are driving on the Bangalore Triputhi Road, you will see us at number 452. We are right near the Vadagoor Gate. It’s a busy spot because of all the people traveling between the two cities. The road gets really loud with trucks and buses zooming past all day and night. Our place is where people stop to take a break from the driving. We see a lot of tired faces coming through the door. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, but we do our best. It’s not a fancy cafe with soft chairs. It’s more of a practical stop for coffee. We keep the pots going and try to keep things moving fast because travelers are usually in a hurry. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage with what we have. That’s just life on this road. Vadagoor Gate is a good landmark, so nobody really gets lost finding us. We have some regulars, like the truck drivers who pass by every few days. They have their favorite spots to sit. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us making sure there is enough coffee for everyone. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. But we just keep the fans going and keep serving the coffee until the day is finally done.
