Coffee Day Square

We sit at B 301 in the Krishna Vilas Apartments over in Ashok Nagar. This is in the Bsk 1St Stage part of Bangalore, pin code 560050. It’s a pretty well-known spot in the neighborhood for people who live around here. We mostly serve coffee and have people coming in to sit and talk or get some work done on their laptops during the day. Bangalore has a lot of coffee drinkers, so we stay pretty busy from early morning until late at night when we finally close up. The apartment building is easy to find once you get into the Ashok Nagar area. We have a few tables and the smell of roasted beans is always in the air, which is nice. We spend time cleaning the tables and making sure the milk and other supplies are fresh. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud and the horns never seem to stop, but it’s usually okay once you’re inside. We know a lot of the students and office workers who live in the apartments nearby. They come in for a quick cup before they head out to the bus stop or the metro. We don't have a huge menu with hundreds of items, just the things people like to drink every day. It’s a good place to just be for a while and escape the sun. We keep the music low so people can actually hear each other talk. It’s just us running the place.
