We spend most of our days here at Dr B R Ambedkar Veedhi. It’s a busy spot in the city. People come in and out all day asking about coffee beans and how things are growing lately. It is an old building, number 1. You can see the traffic moving past outside the gates. Usually, there is a lot of paperwork on the desks. We deal with farmers and traders mostly. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we keep track of the industry. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud. The stairs have been there a long time. We have stacks of files and maps of plantations everywhere. If you walk by, you will see the sign for Coffee Board Of India. It’s just how things are here, keeping the records straight and talking to the people who grow the crop. The neighborhood is full of government offices, so it gets pretty crowded around lunch. We usually just stick to the routine. There isn't much to say other than we have been at this address for quite a while. We drink a lot of coffee, obviously. It’s mostly about the data and the distribution. Nothing too exciting happens, but it’s steady work. We watch the seasons change through the windows. It’s a big responsibility but we just take it day by day and try to keep things organized for the folks in the trade.
