Classic Tea Centre

Our shop, Classic Tea Centre, is down at 32 Laxmi Road in the Sultanpet area. It is a very busy part of town with a lot of wholesale trade happening all around us. We have been here for a good while, selling different kinds of tea to the people who walk by and the other shop owners nearby. The building is older and the street is always packed with people and carts. We keep a variety of tea leaves in large bags and containers. It smells very nice inside, even with all the dust from the street outside. We don't have any fancy seating or anything like that. People usually just come in, check the quality of the tea, and buy what they need. We spend our days weighing out portions and talking to our regular customers about the latest stock. Sultanpet is a bit loud and crowded, but it is where all the business happens. We like being part of the noise. Our shop isn't big, but we make sure the tea is good and the price is fair. We don’t do any big advertising. Word of mouth from the neighbors on Laxmi Road is usually enough. It’s a simple life, selling tea in a busy market. We just open up early and stay until the evening rush is over. It keeps us quite busy most days of the week.
