We are situated at Plot Number 1/1 on the 2nd Cross of the I.T.I. Industrial Estate. It’s right off Whitefield Road in the Mahadevapura Post area. This part of Bangalore has changed so much since we first started here. It used to be much quieter, but now the traffic is a constant rumble outside our gates. We do engineering work in our shed. It’s a practical space filled with the sound of grinding and cutting. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a polished floor. It’s just concrete and heavy machines. We mostly work with local clients who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't do anything fancy, we just make the parts they ask for. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait around for the generator to kick in. It’s a bit frustrating but that’s just life in an industrial estate. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the old lathes and milling machines. We don’t spend money on marketing or big signs. The work we do speaks for itself when someone needs a part made. We drink our tea together in the afternoon and talk about the work for the next day. It’s a basic operation, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just do our best with what we have.
