City Taxi

City Taxi operates out of Vijaya Nagar, specifically at 1185 on the 1st Street A Main Road. We are right at the 3rd Cross. It is a decent spot in a part of the city that is always growing. We have a small crew that stays in the office to answer the phones and keep track of where the cars are. The drivers come in to settle their accounts and have a bit of a break between trips. We don't have a huge fleet, just a few reliable cars that we try to keep in good shape. The roads in Vijaya Nagar can be tricky during the peak hours, so we try to plan the pickups carefully. Sometimes a driver gets stuck in a jam and we have to call the customer to explain. People are usually okay with it if we are honest. We use a simple ledger to write down all the bookings by hand. It feels more reliable than the gadgets sometimes. The office has an old fan that squeaks and a few plastic chairs for when the drivers are waiting. We have been doing this for several years now. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city, just a local one that people can rely on. It's a lot of long hours but we are used to the routine of the city traffic.
