City Bar

We are located on Vittal Mallya Road. It’s a well-known street in this part of town. Our bar has been here for quite some time now. We aren't like the newer places that have opened up nearby. We don't have flashing lights or loud sound systems. It’s a bit more of a quiet, older spot. The tables and chairs are made of heavy dark wood and they’ve seen a lot of use over the years. We spend the early parts of the day doing prep work. This involves cleaning the bar top, checking the stock, and making sure the glasses are spotless. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done. We have a small staff, and most of them have been with us for a decade or more. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing manager. We just run the place ourselves. The lighting inside is kept low, which gives it a certain feel that our regulars seem to like. Vittal Mallya Road is always busy with cars and people, but inside it’s usually much calmer. We don't try to be the most popular place in the city. We just provide a spot for people to sit down for a while. Sometimes something breaks and we have to fix it ourselves. It’s just part of owning an old business. We keep the doors open and the taps ready.
