Citrus Cafe

You can find Citrus Cafe over at Ulsoor, specifically near Shivai Chowk on Sahawas Road 41306. We took over this spot a while back. It’s not a very big cafe, but we have enough room for a few people to sit and have a coffee or a bite to eat. The name comes from a tree that used to be nearby. We have some windows that look out onto the street, so you can watch the people go by. The paint on the walls is starting to chip a little in the corners, but we think it gives the place some character. We don't serve anything too complicated. Mostly just things we know how to cook well without needing a whole team of chefs. The coffee machine makes a loud grinding noise that everyone is used to by now. On rainy days, the place fills up with people trying to stay dry. We don't mind if they stay for a while even if they only buy one drink. It’s a neighborhood place after all. We handle all the cleaning and the cooking ourselves. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, and our backs hurt by the end of the shift. But we open up again the next day because this is what we do. It’s just a normal cafe in a busy part of town. We hope the regulars keep coming back for years.
