Chitra Engineering Enterprises

We operate out of units 20 and 21 in Maheswari Nagar, which is right on Whitefield Road near the Mahadevapura Post. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic is around here, so we try to get most of our moving around done early in the morning. Chitra Engineering Enterprises is a pretty grounded place. We do general engineering work, which means we see a lot of different projects come through our doors. Some days we are busy with small components and other days it’s much larger pieces of equipment. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of the lathes and drills. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just have a few guys who know their way around a machine and a small office to handle the billing. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big project going on, with materials taking up most of the floor space, but we manage to stay organized enough to get things done. We don't put much stock in sounding professional on paper; we’d rather just show people what we can do with the tools we have. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We usually have a bit of grease on our hands by lunch time, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just stay here in Maheswari Nagar and keep working.
