Chisel City Taxi

Chisel City Taxi is our little business over at 126, G2, 4th Cross in Rajajeshwari Layout. We are in the Ayyappanagar area, specifically near Sea College on the Krisnarajapuram Ganpatrao Satpute Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a good spot for us. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for the drivers to come in and out to settle their accounts or take a quick tea break. We have a few desks and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. Ayyappanagar is a crowded place, and being near the college means there are always students and people moving around. We manage a group of taxis that drive people all over the city. I spend my day answering calls and trying to figure out which car is closest to the next pickup. It’s a lot of talking on the radio and looking at maps. The office isn't fancy; it has some plain tiles and a few old chairs for the drivers to sit on while they wait for their next trip. Ganpatrao Satpute Road is always busy, so we hear the noise of engines and horns all day long through the door. We don't have any apps or big advertisements. We just rely on the local people who have our number and call us when they need to go somewhere. It’s a simple, hardworking life. We try to keep the cars running and the drivers happy, which is a full-time job.
