Chief Engineer

Our office is at 37 Kalpana Nilayam on Sathyam Street in Munnekolala. We are situated right behind the government school in the Marathahalli area of Bangalore. If you have ever been to Marathahalli, you know that the traffic on the main road can be a total nightmare, but once you tuck into the side streets where we are, it gets much better. We go by the name Chief Engineer and we handle various technical and engineering projects from this spot. The building is a regular house that has been converted into a working space. We have a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of rolled-up blueprints that seem to be everywhere. You can hear the school bell ring throughout the day, which kind of helps us keep track of time. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lobby and a security guard. It is just a few of us working on designs and checking calculations. We usually get our tea from a small cart that parks nearby in the mornings. There is nothing fancy about how we operate; we just show up, do the work that needs to be done, and try to beat the traffic on the way home. It’s a very grounded way to run a business, and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. It is practical and keeps us focused on the engineering tasks at hand.
