Chetan Real Estate is situated right at the Carmelaram Cross Road, which is quite near Kodathi. If you know the area, you know it’s growing fast but still feels a bit dusty and open. Our office is a simple place where we keep our files and meet people who are looking for land or a new house around here. We spend a lot of time walking around different plots or driving out to show people where the boundaries are. Sometimes the weather is too hot and we just sit under the fan with some cold water. People from the nearby villages and the new developments stop by to chat. We don’t use any big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they saw our sign while driving past the cross road. The traffic at the junction can get pretty bad during peak hours, so we usually try to schedule our site visits for the middle of the day. It’s a straightforward job. We talk to sellers, we talk to buyers, and we look at a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the paperwork takes longer than we want because things move slow. We’ve seen this neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just stay here at our spot near Kodathi and keep doing what we do every day. It’s a local life and we are just part of the neighborhood now. We deal with what comes through the door.
