Charmed Arts

Charmed Arts is tucked away in the J C Industrial Area of Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are on the first floor of building number 7, quite close to the Balaji Service Center. It’s an interesting spot because you have industrial workshops on one side and then us doing art stuff. Our space is filled with all sorts of materials—paints, brushes, frames, and whatever projects we are currently working on. It’s usually a bit of a mess, but we like it that way. There is always something being made, so the floor often has scraps of paper or wood shavings on it. We aren't a high-end gallery with white walls. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get created. The light comes in through some big windows, which is nice for seeing colors, though it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. Most of the people who work here have paint under their fingernails. We spend a lot of time just figuring out how to make something look right. It’s a lot of trial and error. People sometimes stumble in looking for the service center and end up looking at our work instead. We don't mind. It’s a quiet enough area during the day, except for the occasional sound of a motorbike being fixed nearby. We just keep our heads down and work on the orders we have. It’s a bit of a hidden gem if you’re into handmade things.
