Champion Tea Centre

We are located at 138 Balepet, right on Rangaswamy Temple Street. This area is always crowded, especially with the temple being so close. We start our day pretty early to get the tea ready for the morning rush. It is a small shop, and it can get quite hot with the stove going all the time. We serve a lot of people who work in the nearby markets or visitors coming to the temple. We do not have fancy furniture, just some basic benches and a counter where we serve the tea. The smell of tea leaves and milk is always in the air here. We go through a lot of sugar and ginger every day. It is a simple business, but it keeps us on our feet. Sometimes the street outside gets so packed that people have to squeeze in to get their cup. We know many of our regulars by sight, and we know exactly how they like their tea. There is not any complicated menu. We just do what we know. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the kettles to worry about that. It is a noisy, lively spot in the heart of Balepet. We have been here for a good while, watching the crowds go by every single day. If you are walking down Rangaswamy Temple Street, you will hear the clinking of glasses. We just keep the tea hot and the service fast.
