Cha Bar

You can find Cha Bar over at Leela Galleria on Old Airport Road, number 23, in the Hindustan Aeronautits limited 2nd Stage area. It’s an interesting spot to be in, surrounded by a lot of activity. We’ve been here for a while, and the space has a certain feel to it. It’s not just a shop; it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a lot of books around, which makes the place feel a bit more lived-in. It’s not a sterile environment at all. There are stacks of things here and there, and the seating isn't always perfectly arranged. We like it that way. It feels real. People come in to browse or just to get away from the heat for a bit. We don't have a script for how we talk to customers. We just chat like normal people. Old Airport Road is usually a mess of traffic, so once people get inside, they usually want to stay for a while. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the city. We just want to be a place where you can sit down and not feel rushed. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the shelves, but that’s part of the charm. We’re just here, doing our thing every day. Sometimes we forget to turn the music on, but then someone reminds us and we get it going again.
