Canara Coffee Center

We’ve been here in Rajajinagar for a while now. The shop is at Survey No 44 743, nothing too fancy, just a spot to get your morning coffee. Most people come in early before work. The machines make a bit of noise, but that’s just how it is. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the milk is fresh and the cups are clean. Sometimes it gets crowded around ten, but it clears out soon. We try to keep things simple. You might see some regulars who have been coming since we first opened the doors. They usually sit in the same spots every day. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s not a big place, so you have to mind your elbows sometimes. We grind the beans right here, which makes the whole place smell like coffee all day long. Some days the delivery truck is late, and we have to wait around, but we manage. We aren't trying to be one of those fancy cafes you see in the mall. It’s just us, some coffee, and a lot of familiar faces from the area. If you’re walking by, you’ll probably see the steam coming off the filter. We just keep the lights on and keep the pots full for whoever walks in. It’s been our life for years and we don't plan on changing much.
