Cafecoffeeday

I've been working at this Cafecoffeeday for a while now. It's tucked away in Annayyappa Layout, right across from that big Jubilee Meridian building. If you're coming from the Rajeshwari Theatre, you'll find us pretty easily. The street gets a bit crowded in the evenings, especially when a movie lets out. We stay busy. Most days involve just keeping the machines running and making sure there's enough milk and beans. It isn't a fancy corporate office, just a spot in HAL, Bangalore-17. The sun hits the front window in the morning, which makes it warm. My desk is near the back. People come in and out all day. Sometimes the neighbors from the layout stop by just to say hello. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything, just the usual setup. Some of the floor tiles are a bit worn down from people walking, but it's home for us. Getting here is okay most days, though traffic near the theatre is a mess on weekends. I usually just walk over from the main road. We keep things simple here. No one is wearing suits or talking in big business terms. It’s just us doing what we do every day. It’s quiet in the afternoons before the rush starts. Sometimes I sit by the door and watch the scooters go by. It’s a good spot to be in, honestly.
