Cafe Retro

If you are walking around Frazer Town, you might have seen us at 97/98, right near the Domino's Pizza. We called it Cafe Retro because we liked the name, but really it’s just a simple place for people to sit down. We don't have those fancy automatic machines that do everything for you. It’s more about just having a spot where you can get a cup of tea or some snacks without any fuss. The tables are a bit old and the chairs might creak a little, but it feels comfortable enough. We get a lot of people coming in during the evening when it’s not so hot outside. Some people just want to get away from the noise of the street for a few minutes. We spend a lot of time wiping down counters and making sure the jars are filled with biscuits. It’s usually just us behind the counter, trying to keep up with orders when it gets busy. Sometimes we run out of things unexpectedly, and one of us has to run out to grab supplies from the market. It happens. We aren't trying to be the most popular spot in Bangalore, just a place that’s there when you need a break. Being in Frazer Town means there is always something going on outside, but inside we try to keep it a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here for a while and the locals seem to like the quiet.
