You’ll find us on the second floor of No. 24/A, which is on the 7th Cross in the KR Colony part of Domlur Layout. It’s a bit unusual to have a cafe up on the second floor, but we like the view of the street from the windows. The stairs are a bit steep, so people usually take their time coming up. Once you get inside, the smell of coffee and food is usually the first thing you notice. We have a small kitchen in the back where we prepare everything ourselves. The furniture doesn't all match—some chairs are wooden and some are metal—but it makes the place feel more like someone’s living room than a business. We get a lot of locals from the colony who come in to read the newspaper or just chat for a while. The 7th Cross is generally a quiet street, except for the occasional delivery truck or a passing scooter. We don't have a big menu with fancy names; we just serve what we know how to make well. Sometimes the milk delivery is late or we run out of a certain ingredient, and we just have to tell people we'll have it tomorrow. It’s a relaxed atmosphere where nobody is in a huge hurry. We enjoy being part of the Domlur community and seeing the same faces every day. It’s a simple life, running a small cafe in this neighborhood.
