Cafe Frescos

We are located at 32 Queens Road. Cafe Frescos has been here for a while now, sitting right on the edge of the street. It’s a good spot for watching people walk to work or head to the station. We keep the place pretty relaxed. The tables are usually filled with folks who have a bit of time to kill. Maybe they’re waiting for a meeting or just want to get out of the house for an hour. We serve coffee and some snacks, the kind of things that are easy to eat while you’re reading or talking. The light comes in through the front windows really nicely in the morning, which is probably my favorite time of day here. We don’t have a fancy uniform or a corporate manual. We just wear what’s comfortable and talk to people like they’re our neighbors, which most of them are. Sometimes the espresso machine gets a bit moody and makes a loud hissing noise, but we’ve learned how to handle it over the years. We’re not trying to be the trendiest place in the city. We just want to be a reliable spot where you can get a decent drink without any fuss. It's just a regular cafe run by people who live nearby. We keep the doors open and the pots fresh for whoever needs a break from the busy sidewalk outside.
