Cafe Coffee Day

This Cafe Coffee Day is the one over in Whitefield, specifically in Pararande Nagar. It’s a bit different from the other ones because of the crowd we get here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass doors because they always get smudged with fingerprints. The air conditioner hums in the background, sometimes a bit louder than we’d like, but it keeps the place cool when the sun is hitting the pavement outside. We’ve got the standard tables and those chairs that are okay for an hour or so. We mostly see people coming in for a quick break or a small meeting. Pararande Nagar can get pretty busy, so we end up sitting here to get away from the sun. We keep the sugar packets and the stirrers in those little containers on the counter. Every morning starts with us checking the inventory and making sure we have enough milk. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like wiping down the counters and emptying the trash bins. We don't have any fancy art on the walls, just the usual signs. Sometimes the grinder is a bit noisy, and we have to speak up to hear the customers. We’re just a regular shop where people can grab a drink. Nothing too complicated about it. We open the doors, do our shifts, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s just a steady rhythm here in Whitefield, day after day, and we are just here for it.
