Cafe Coffee Day

This specific Cafe Coffee Day is up on the 2nd floor of a building in Lakshmi Layout, right on 4th Cross in Munekolala. It’s a bit of a different setup since we are in Flat No. 117. Most people associate the name with the big cafes on the high street, but here it feels a bit more local and tucked away. We see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly people from the nearby offices or students who live in the area and need a place to sit for a while. The smell of coffee is always there, obviously, and the sound of the milk steamer is basically the soundtrack to our work day. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so the air conditioning is always working overtime. We have a few small tables and some chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough. The staff spends most of the shift cleaning up spills and making sure the bean supply isn't running low. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in Bangalore. We don't really do much fancy stuff here. It is just about getting the orders right and keeping the place decent for whoever walks in. Munekolala is a busy spot, so there is always something happening outside the window, which makes the time go by faster. It is just a regular coffee shop doing its thing.
