Cafe-Coffee-Day

We are a branch of Cafe-Coffee-Day, and right now we are really focusing on the food and beverage production side of things as well as front office duties. It is what we do every day here. Our team spends most of their time in the kitchen or at the counter. We don't have a traditional street address listed in our files, just these specific roles we are working on. It’s a busy environment where the smell of coffee is everywhere. We aren't a big corporate headquarters. We are the people who actually make the drinks and talk to the people who walk in the door. We have to keep the place clean and make sure the food is ready for everyone. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with customers who might be in a hurry. Some of us are better at the coffee making while others are better at the customer care part. We just try to balance it out as best as we can. The equipment sometimes breaks down and we have to fix it on the fly. It's not a perfect system, but it works for us. We learn as we go. There are no fancy titles here, just people doing their jobs. We spend a lot of time training new staff on how to handle the machines and talk to people. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast.
