Cafe Acharyaa

Cafe Acharyaa is tucked away in J P Nagar at Sewak Nagar 1398. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. We opened up this spot because we wanted somewhere local for people to just hang out. Most of our days are spent cleaning counters and making sure there is enough milk and sugar for the afternoon. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns with the brewing and the serving. The tables are a bit mismatched because we picked them up at different times, but they work fine. We get a lot of students coming in to finish their work and older folks who just want to sit and watch the street for a while. There isn't a lot of fuss here. We don't use fancy terms for our drinks or have a complicated ordering system. You just tell us what you want and we make it. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck is late, and we just tell people how it is. We find that being honest is better than making excuses. The light in the evenings is actually quite nice through the front window, even if the glass is a bit streaky. We keep the radio on most of the time, playing whatever station has the least static. It’s just a normal cafe for normal people who need a break.
