Cab Hire In

We are based in Wilson Garden at 189/44 Sampige Road. Specifically, Cab Hire In is up on the 3rd floor of the Shalimar Arcade. The building is usually quite busy with people coming and going for different things. If you are coming to see us, you have to head up the stairs or use the lift if it is working that day. Sometimes it is faster just to walk up. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and a lot of phones ringing. Being in Wilson Garden means there is always something happening outside on the street. You can hear the traffic and the vendors pretty clearly from our windows. We have a small corner for files and another for the water cooler. It is a practical space for what we do. We don't have any of those modern office things like bean bags or ping pong tables. It is just a place where we sit down and handle the bookings. The afternoon sun can get quite warm in here, so we usually have a fan going to keep the air moving. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time, so we all know how the routine goes. It is a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It's just a local business on a busy road. It might not look like much from the outside, but it is home for us during the day.
