Our spot is right at 30 Ananda Rao Circle. The traffic outside can be a bit of a mess, as anyone who drives around here knows. Most of our time is spent coordinating where the cars need to go next. Sometimes the congestion makes it a bit tricky, especially when everyone is heading to work, but that is just how things are in this part of town. Drivers stop by the small office to hand in their paperwork or just grab a quick tea between trips from the stall nearby. It is not a fancy setup at all, just a few worn-out desks and some plastic chairs where we keep track of the bookings. We’ve been at this address for a while now, so we know the shortcuts and the quiet times of the day pretty well. People walk in from the street sometimes asking for a ride, or they call us up when they need to get to the airport early in the morning. It’s mostly just making sure the vehicles are clean and the drivers are ready to go when someone needs them. On rainy days, it gets really hectic in the office with the phones ringing constantly and the floor getting a bit muddy from people coming in. We try to keep things organized on our old log sheets. The circle outside is always full of noise and honking, but inside we just focus on the schedule. It is a lot of waiting around sometimes, then suddenly everything happens at once. That is the way the cab business works around here.
