Buntea & Bubbley Tea Co

This part of Whitefield is always moving. We are right by the High Court railway crossing on Stadium Road. You can hear the trains sometimes. It’s an interesting spot near the Income Tax offices. Buntea & Bubbley Tea Co started because we liked tea. Simple as that. We have the bubble tea and the regular stuff too. The shop isn't very big. We have a few stools by the window so you can watch the traffic. It gets pretty backed up at the crossing. We see a lot of people looking frustrated in their cars. We’re just inside making tea. Sometimes we run out of the tapioca pearls because we didn't prep enough. Sorry about that. We’re still learning the flow of things. The staff is just a couple of us. We wear t-shirts and jeans. No uniforms. It feels more relaxed that way. We get a mix of office workers and students. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard and the roads flood. But we stay open. We’ve got a little radio playing in the background. It’s a bit of a weird location, but we like it. It feels real. Not like those shiny malls. Just a tea shop by the tracks. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the door near the crossing. It’s nothing special, but the tea is alright for a break.
