Bramalingeshwara Tea Stall

This little tea stall is located in Kempe Gowda Nagar, right by the Pushpak Society. It’s nothing fancy, just a small place where we make tea every single morning. We start quite early, usually before the sun is even fully up. You can find us here boiling milk and getting the tea leaves ready for the first rush of people going to work. Most of our customers are the same people every day. They live in the society nearby or they work on this street. We know how most people like their tea, whether they want extra sugar or a bit more ginger in it. It gets crowded around eight in the morning and then again in the evening when people are heading back home. The stove is almost always on. We also keep some biscuits and snacks in jars on the counter for people who are hungry. It’s a simple way to make a living. There is always a lot of steam in the air and the smell of cardamom. We don't have much seating, so people mostly just stand around and talk while they drink from their glass cups. It’s a good spot to hear the local news or just watch the cars go by. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many people, it’s a constant job. That is just how it is.
