It’s a bit of a different vibe here because we spend half our time out in the field and the other half back at the office staring at maps. The office itself is pretty quiet compared to the noise of Kanakapura Road. We have these big tables for laying out maps and a few computers that are always running some kind of data program. There are stacks of tripods and surveying gear leaning against the walls in the corner. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paper, with all the charts and drawings we have to keep track of. It’s not a very fancy place; we just need enough room to work and a roof over our heads. When we are back from a site, we usually just want to sit down and get the numbers right. The area around Gangadhar Nagar has changed a lot since we first set up here. More buildings have gone up and the traffic has gotten worse. We don't really have a big sign out front, just a small one so people don't miss us. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try to keep it simple. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just the one that gets the maps drawn correctly.
