Our office is tucked away on Kamanahalli Main Road, right near the 2nd E Cross. Ramaiah Layout is a busy area, and we spend most of our time walking up and down these specific streets. People come in looking for a place to stay or maybe wanting to sell a bit of land they have had in the family for years. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, to be honest. We deal with keys, old door locks, and checking if the water comes at the right time in the morning before showing a house. Some days are just spent waiting for people to show up for appointments that they might be late for. Other days we are running between three different properties before we even have time for lunch. It is not like those big agencies you see on the television with people in suits. We just sit here with our files and a small fan going when it gets too hot in the afternoon. Kamanahalli has changed quite a bit lately, with many more shops and small cafes opening up every single month. We try to keep track of who is moving in and who is moving out. Sometimes a family just needs a bigger kitchen, or a student wants something small near the main road. We listen to what they need and then look through our old lists. It is mostly about knowing the local owners and which houses have the best light.
