Bel

1466, 3rd Cross is where we are located. It's a busy spot in Mariyappanapalya and we've been here for a while now. Most people know where the shop is because of the old tree nearby. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for people to find parking, but we usually manage to find a spot for them. Inside, it's just a few of us working. We handle whatever comes in that day without much fuss. Bel isn't a fancy office with big signs or glass doors. It is just a regular workplace that smells a bit like old paper and ink. We keep the ledger on the front desk. My uncle used to run things here, but now I’m at the desk most days. The ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool during the hotter months. Customers usually just walk in and ask for what they need directly. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Bangalore-21 is home for us. We know the neighbors pretty well and they know us. There's a tea stall around the corner where we go for our breaks. Life is quiet here mostly. We just try to get the work done right and go home. Nothing too complicated about how we do things. We close up around 7 pm usually. Sometimes it is later if there is more to do. It’s just how things go for us.
