Bayars Coffee

Our shop is located at 63/2 Basavanagudi Reservoir Cross Road, right near the B H Gunasheela Nursing Home. It’s an old part of town and we have been around here for a long time. The smell of coffee beans usually fills up the street when we are roasting, which is most days. We spend a lot of time sorting through sacks and getting everything ready for the customers who come by. It isn't a very large space, just enough for the equipment and some storage for the bags. Some of the regulars have been coming here for years, stopping in for a quick chat while they get what they need. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us working with the coffee and making sure the machines are running okay. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road for a bit, which can be a mess, but that’s just part of being in Basavanagudi. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. Most of our morning is spent handling orders and talking to people from the neighborhood. It gets busy during the festivals but otherwise, it's a pretty steady pace. We aren't trying to be a fancy cafe, just a place where the coffee is handled properly and people know who we are. It’s just a small shop with a few people doing their jobs every day.
