Baskin Robbins

Working out here in the Hebbal DKIADB Industrial Area can be a bit different than a mall. We are located at Gk 2 and it gets dusty outside sometimes because of all the trucks and construction around the industrial zone. Inside the shop though it is always cold because of the big freezers we have running day and night. It’s a bit of a contrast to the heat outside. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby factories or offices who just want something cold after a long shift. We spend a lot of time checking the temperatures and making sure all the tubs are filled up. The floors need mopping quite often since people bring in dirt from the industrial roads. It is a simple setup with the usual counter and some chairs for people to sit for a few minutes. We don’t have much music playing usually just the hum of the cooling units in the background. Sometimes the power flickers but we have a backup to keep the ice cream from melting. It’s just us here scooping and cleaning all day long. We have been in this spot for a bit and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area. It isn't a glamorous job but it is okay. We just focus on keeping the place tidy and making sure the freezer doors are shut tight.
