Baskin Robbins

We’re located right at Mitra Mandal Chowk 22 on Banneraghatta Road, which is a pretty busy spot for families. The freezers have this constant hum that you eventually stop noticing after working here for a week. We spend a lot of time wiping the glass because kids always leave fingerprints when they’re trying to pick a flavor. It's a small shop, mostly filled with the cold air from the cabinets and the smell of the waffle cones we keep in the back. On weekends, it gets a bit chaotic with everyone trying to crowd around the counter at once. We’ve had the same neighbors for a while, and we all kind of look out for each other on this stretch of the road. Sometimes the power flickers and we have to make sure the backup kicks in so nothing melts. It’s a simple job, really, just scooping and making sure the spoons are stocked up. We don’t have much in the way of decor, just the usual signs and a few tables that wobble a little if you lean on them wrong. Most people take their scoops to go and walk along the road. The streetlights outside flicker a bit in the evening, but it makes the place easy to find when you're looking for something sweet after dinner. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where we see the same faces every week.
