Baskin Robbins

This Baskin Robbins is located at Jay Mahal Extension Netaji Subhash Chandra Road 11. Even though it is a known name, we run this specific shop like a regular neighborhood place. It is just a small outlet on Netaji Subhash Chandra Road. We have the freezers lined up with all the different buckets of ice cream. It is usually quiet during the day, but once the sun goes down and the schools are out, it starts to pick up. We spend a lot of time scooping and making sure the floor stays dry because ice cream melts fast in this heat. The address at house number 11 has become a bit of a landmark for the kids around here. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, keep the machines cold, and serve whoever comes in. Jay Mahal Extension is a nice place to work because it is a bit more relaxed than the center of the city. We know many of our regulars by their favorite flavors. It is a pretty straightforward job. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the generators, but mostly it is just a routine of keeping the place clean and the customers happy. We are just a local shop trying to stay busy and provide a cool spot for the people living nearby to get a dessert after their dinner.
