Baskin Robbins

This shop is located at 239 G4 on Sankey Road in Sadashiva Nagar. It’s a nice part of town, quite green and usually a bit quieter than the center of the city. We have the usual freezer cabinets filled with all the different flavors. It’s not a very big space, just enough for a few people to stand and choose what they want. Sometimes families come in after dinner and the place gets full pretty quickly. We spend a lot of time scooping and cleaning the glass counters because kids always leave fingerprints. The air conditioning is always running high to keep the ice cream from softening, so it’s a good place to duck into when the sun is out. We don't have a lot of seating, maybe just a couple of small stools near the window. The staff is mostly younger folks who are good at remembering what goes into each sundae. We get a lot of regulars from the houses nearby who walk over in the evenings. It’s a straightforward job, mostly just keeping the tubs full and the floors swept. Sometimes a flavor runs out and people get a bit disappointed, but we just suggest something else. It’s a cheerful little corner of Sadashiva Nagar. We just keep the lights on and the freezers cold every day of the week. Nothing more to it than that.
