Barquenchers

Barquenchers is located at Royal Estate on Magrath Road. It’s a spot we’ve been running for a good bit now. Magrath Road is right in the heart of things, so it’s never really quiet around here. We’re part of Royal Estate, which is a familiar place for many who live nearby. We don't have a bunch of corporate rules or a polished way of speaking to our guests. We just show up and make sure the place is ready for whoever walks in. The name Barquenchers is pretty straightforward. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing plans. We just rely on being here and being consistent for our regulars. The interior is simple, nothing too modern or over the top. We’ve got some sturdy tables and a counter that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We see all kinds of people coming through Magrath Road every day. Some are in a big hurry and some just want to sit for a while and relax. We treat everyone the same. Sometimes the sink leaks or a light bulb flickers, and we just fix it ourselves when we have a spare moment. It’s a hands-on kind of business for us. We aren't trying to change the world. We’re just providing a place for people at Royal Estate to go. We keep the place open late, and the streetlights outside are our main view. It’s a decent way to make a living and we’ve become part of the neighborhood’s daily rhythm.
