Balaji Bag Collection

Balaji Bag Collection is situated in the middle of Shivaji Nagar, right inside the Rajlaxmi Market. If you know the area, you probably know Anand Sweet; we are very close to that landmark. The market is always packed with people, especially on the weekends, so it gets quite lively around our shop. We deal with all kinds of bags, from small ones for coins to bigger ones for long travel. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling with different styles and colors. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item quickly, but we know where everything is tucked away. We’ve been part of the Rajlaxmi Market for a long time now. It’s a noisy place with vendors calling out and shoppers haggling, but that is just the way it is here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. The floors are a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, and we usually have a fan running to keep the air moving in the heat. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we take care of the stock ourselves. We just focus on having enough variety so that when someone comes looking for a bag, they find something that works for them. It might be crowded, but there is always something interesting to find if you look through the stacks. We stay late most nights until the market closes.
