You can find our little place at No.F-113, right behind Central Care in Gandhinagar. We are on the 2nd Main Road, which is a pretty decent area for us. We spend our days working with different fabrics and materials, making bags of all kinds. It’s a bit of a crowded shop, full of sewing machines and rolls of cloth, but we know where everything is. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way because we like being able to see what’s being made. It’s not a big factory where everything is done by robots. We do the cutting and the stitching ourselves. Sometimes the machines act up or we run out of a specific color of thread, but we always find a way to fix it. People from around the neighborhood drop by often, sometimes just to see what we are working on. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion brand you’d see in a mall. We just make bags that people can actually use every day. The smell of the materials is something you get used to after a while. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the big industrial areas. We like the pace here in Gandhinagar. It’s steady, and we have our regulars who come back whenever they need something new. It’s just us and our tools, making things one at a time.
