Bag Zone

We are located at 130/20 on Shahibaug Road, which is right across from the Commercial Street police station and near Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being so close to Commercial Street means there are always shoppers walking around, but our side of the road is a bit different. We have a lot of bags here—backpacks, duffels, and everything in between. They are hanging on the walls and piled up in the middle of the floor. It is a lot to keep track of, but we manage. The police station across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The pavement outside is a bit uneven, so we always tell people to watch their step when they walk in. We get a mix of people coming in, from students looking for school bags to travelers needing something sturdy for a trip. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space. We do not have any slick salespeople. It is usually just one or two of us standing near the door, ready to help if someone asks a question. The fan on the ceiling squeaks a bit when it is on high, but it keeps the place cool enough during the day. We try to keep the prices fair because we know people have a lot of choices around here. It is a busy little spot in a very famous part of town.
