Bag Max

Bag Max is located right at 1 Akota Palace Road. It is not a very big shop, just a small space we have used for years now. I started this place because I needed something to do, and bags seemed like a simple enough thing to handle. The shop sits on a corner that gets quite a bit of dust from the traffic, so I spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves. We have all sorts of bags piled up. Some are for school kids and others are for people going on trips. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a new shipment comes in and we have nowhere to put the boxes. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when things get busy. We do not have any fancy computers or systems here. We just write everything down in a big ledger we keep behind the counter. The building is old and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it feels like home to us. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat even when they are not buying anything. We have a small stool for them to sit on. It is a quiet life, really. We open up at ten and stay until the street lights come on. There is nothing special about how we do things, we just try to keep the doors open and the stock full.
