Bag Gallery

Bag Gallery is situated over on 7th Main Road in Vijaya Nagar at number 542. We have been at this exact spot for a long time now. It is a decent neighborhood with many people walking by to the local market or the metro station nearby. We sell mostly everyday handbags and backpacks. We do not keep anything too flashy, just practical things that are meant to last a while. I usually sit near the front door so I can say hello to whoever comes in. The shelves are made of wood and we actually built some of them ourselves when we first opened the place. It looks okay, though maybe not professional. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evenings after she finishes her other work. We do not use any fancy computer systems, just a simple ledger where we write every sale down by hand. Sometimes the rain leaks a little bit near the front window, so we have to move the leather bags away to keep them dry. It is just part of the daily routine here. People in Vijaya Nagar know us well by now. We do not spend money on advertisements because word of mouth seems to work well enough for us. If someone likes a bag, they usually tell their friends or neighbors. The morning sun hits the shop front quite hard, but we have an old fan that keeps the air moving.
