Baba Fancy

If you head down Palace Guttahalli Road, you’ll find Baba Fancy at 41307. It’s a bit of a crowded road, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our shop is one of those places where there is always something to look at. We have a lot of items squeezed into a small space. It’s mostly fancy items and small things that people pick up on their way somewhere else. Some days it feels like we spend half our time just dusting the shelves because the road outside gets so much traffic. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors all know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place where you can find what you need without a lot of fuss. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, and the front door squeaks if the weather is humid. We just put a bit of oil on it and keep going. Usually, there’s one of us at the counter while the other is trying to organize the new boxes that arrived in the morning. Guttahalli is a lively place to work. You see all sorts of people walking by. We don’t really do much advertising; people just see the shop and walk in. It’s a pretty basic way to run a business, but it works for us and our regulars. We have been behind this counter for years now and it’s okay.
