We run B S T Cabs out of a small place at 30/1 Konankunte in Siddarth Nagar. You can see us right across from the Reliance Fresh, which is where most people tell the drivers to meet them. It’s a handy landmark for everyone. Our office is just a simple room where we keep the logbooks and the phones. We’ve got a few cars that we manage, and we try to keep them as clean as we can, though the dust around here makes that a daily chore. The drivers are usually around, either sitting in their cars or grabbing a coffee at the stall nearby. We handle a lot of airport drops and local pickups for people in the neighborhood. It’s a busy area, especially when the grocery store gets crowded in the evenings. We don't have any fancy apps or anything like that. People just call us up or walk into the office to book a trip for the next day. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when two drivers call in sick at the same time, but we usually find a way to make it work. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the business going. We’ve been in Konankunte for a while now and know most of the regular customers by name. It’s a straightforward life, just making sure cars are where they need to be and everyone gets home safe.
