Assam Tea Traders

Our place, Assam Tea Traders, is located over in Kansara Bazar. If you know the Mahalakshmi Layout area, we are at number 19329. It’s a busy part of the city, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the market. We handle a lot of tea here, mostly stuff coming in and out of the warehouse. The smell of the leaves is always pretty strong when you walk through the door. It is a simple operation. We spend most of our time grading tea and moving crates around. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the street, but that is just how it is in Kansara Bazar. We are not a fancy boutique or a cafe where you sit down for a drink. This is where the work happens. We have been at this Mahalakshmi Layout spot for some time. The floor is usually covered in sample tins and shipping labels. Our staff knows the routine by heart now. We deal with suppliers and buyers, keeping things moving as fast as we can. Some days the shipments are late, and other days everything goes smooth. It is just life in the tea trade. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just us at 19329, working with tea every day of the week. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and get through the stock.
