About Assam Tea Centre – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
If you are looking for Assam Tea Centre, we are at 49/1 Dodda Mavalli. We are part of the Nutan Co-operative Housing Society. It’s a quiet area compared to the main roads, which I like. I spend most of my day surrounded by the smell of tea leaves. It’s a nice smell to work in. The shop is small, with shelves lined with different bags and boxes. I’ve been running this place for quite a while now. Most of my customers are people who live in the housing society or nearby. They come in for their regular supply and we usually end up talking about the weather or the local news. I keep a small kettle in the back so I can make a cup for myself whenever I want. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in the corners. I don't mind it much. My morning routine is always the same: open the locks, sweep the front, and arrange the stock. I don't do any big promotions. I think if the tea is good, people will come back, and they usually do. It’s a simple way to make a living. I close up around 8 PM and head home. Dodda Mavalli is a good place for a shop like this. It’s got a real community feel, and I know most of the faces I see every day. It's my little slice of the world.
