The office for our travel agency is over at number 64 on Chamrajpet 1st Main Road. It’s quite near Royan Circle, which is a big landmark that most people in this part of town know. We handle all kinds of travel bookings and tickets for people. It is mostly just a few of us sitting at our desks with the computers running all day. People walk in wanting to visit their relatives or maybe take a trip somewhere new. We spend our time looking up flight schedules and bus prices to see what fits. It’s a lot of typing and sometimes the internet gets slow and we just have to wait it out. We’ve been in this same building for a while now. The walls are a bit plain and we have a few maps pinned up, but it’s not a fancy corporate setup. We just help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. Royan Circle is always packed with traffic, so it stays pretty noisy outside our door. We answer the phone a lot because people have questions about visas or passport documents. We just tell them what we know from our experience. It is a regular job and we try to be practical about it. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our customers are just people from the neighborhood who have seen our sign while walking by. We open at ten and stay until we finish the bookings for the day.
