You can find us at number 22 Indira Nagar, specifically in the Yelachenahalli part of the neighborhood. We are tucked away near the Indiranagar RTO office, which is handy because everyone knows where that is. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and a window with some old property listings taped up. Inside, Ashwin Real Estate is mostly just a couple of us sitting at wooden desks with maps of the local area spread out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out walking around the blocks to see which houses are being fixed up. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is usually when we take our only real break. It gets pretty hot in the office during the summer months, so we keep the door open to let the breeze in from the street. People wander in asking about rent or land prices, and we just tell them what we know. There’s no fancy computer system here, just some big binders and our notebooks. Yelachenahalli is a growing spot, so there is always some construction noise in the background. We’ve been at this Indira Nagar location for a while now and we know most of the shortcuts around the RTO. It’s a decent place to work and the neighbors are mostly quiet, except for when the traffic gets backed up on the main road.
