Our workshop, Ashwa Shakti Engineers Pvt Ltd, is located at 16-B in the Vishweshwaraiah Industrial Area, which is part of Mahadevapura 2nd Phase. It’s a solid, no-nonsense area full of factories and engineering shops. We’ve been operating out of this unit for quite some time now. The place is filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll find one of us in greasy overalls working on a lathe or a milling machine. We handle a lot of custom fabrication and mechanical parts for other businesses in the area. It’s the kind of work where you have to be precise, or else nothing fits together at the end of the day. Our team is small, mostly made up of guys who grew up around tools and engines. We don't spend a lot of time talking about our values or anything like that. We just focus on the drawings and the metal in front of us. The industrial area can be a bit messy, especially during the monsoon when the roads get muddy, but we don't mind much. It’s a good place to work if you like building things with your hands. We keep the shop open late most nights to finish up the batches that need to go out. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do and it keeps us going.
