Asha City Taxi

Our taxi office is on Pattandur Agrahara Road, right across from the Food World. It is a busy spot because of the grocery shoppers and the traffic moving towards the main road. We keep a small office here where the drivers can sit and rest between trips. There is usually a pot of tea going and some old newspapers on the table to pass the time. We handle a lot of calls from people in the neighborhood who need a ride to the airport or just across town for work. We have a few cars that stay parked nearby when they are not out on a call. It is a simple business, mostly about keeping track of the schedules and making sure the cars are running okay. Sometimes a driver is late because of a traffic jam on the main road, and we have to call the passenger to let them know. We don't have a fancy app or anything; people usually just call the number or walk up to the desk. We know the shortcuts around this area pretty well since we spend all day driving through them. The office is just a place to coordinate everything and keep the logbooks updated. We try to be fair with the rates and just get people to their destination without a lot of talking if that is what they want. It is just us trying to make a living on these busy roads.
